Carolyne Pothast is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and joined Pinnacle Family Medicine in 2023. She graduated from Grand Canyon University with two master's degrees in Nursing Education and Post-master’s certificate in Family Nurse Practitioner. Prior to graduate school, she earned her undergraduate nursing degree from Grand Canyon University and Paradise Valley Community College.
Carolyne has been serving patients since 2016. Prior to becoming an NP, Carolyne served as a Registered Nurse in cardiac telemetry, pain management, and the post anesthesia care unit. She continues to be work as an adjunct faculty member at Grand Canyon University teaching undergraduate nursing students in lab and immersive simulation.
Her varied experiences have ignited a passion for holistic care and partnering with patients for optimal health. She enjoys Family Practice because of the opportunity to develop lifelong relationships with patients and enjoys the focus on preventive health.
Carolyne is a member of CCV church and during her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 daughters, traveling, and cooking.
