Rachel Fairman is a certified physician assistant through the NCCPA. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences and a minor in Exercise and Health Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2011. Rachel is a native of California, growing up in Bakersfield, but relocated to Phoenix, Arizona for graduate school. She attended Midwestern University where she earned a Master of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
Rachel has worked as a physician assistant in the family practice setting since graduation. She offers a caring heart and warm touch when treating patients which she attributes to her strong faith. Volunteering with the homeless community in Santa Barbara as part of the Doctor's Without Walls clinical team also helped her develop the art of caring for patients. Before obtaining her master's degree, she worked as a medical assistant for a pediatrician and dermatologist. As a result, her particular interests include women's health and adolescent health, including preventative medicine. Treating patients with the highest quality of care as part of the Pinnacle Family Medicine team is now her daily focus.
When not at the office, she finds joy through her local church community and hanging out with friends. She often takes trips back to California to visit family and of course the beautiful southern California beaches. Rachel enjoys staying active outdoors (hiking and jogging), traveling, and attending baseball games. Go Dodgers!
